FAQ
What Does Independent Advice Mean?
We want to provide women with transparent, comprehensive, and trustworthy financial consultations. That’s why we work exclusively with independent financial experts who are not tied to any bank. Unlike employees at banks or insurance companies, our independent advisors and wealth managers do not earn commissions on products—they don’t make money by recommending a specific product. This allows them to select the most suitable and cost-effective financial investments and products for you, completely independently.
How Long Does a Consultation or Advisory Session Last?
Both the Financial Consultation and the Wealth Management session last one hour. You’ll get the most out of your session if you prepare your questions and relevant documents in advance.
For the Wealth Management session, you also have the option to send your key documents—such as your current investment strategy—to your independent advisor via email beforehand.
Is the Session Online or In-Person?
The Financial Consultation is generally held online. If you prefer an in-person appointment in the Solothurn area, you can arrange this directly with our financial expert, Delia Bohren.
For the independent Wealth Management session, you can choose whether to meet online or in person in Zurich.
For both options, you can select the date and time that works best for you.
How Do I Book an Appointment?
Once you’ve chosen your advisor, you can select a convenient time slot immediately after completing your booking and payment.
What’s Included in the Financial Consultation?
In your Financial Consultation, you can ask questions on topics such as:
- Everyday Finances & Budgeting: Learn how to manage your money, create a budget, and gain control over your finances.
- Investing & ETFs: Start with small amounts and understand what to look for, including sustainable investing.
- Retirement Planning: Understand how AHV, pension funds, and the 3rd pillar work together.
- Financial Planning & Life Decisions: Guidance for marriage, cohabitation, starting a family, separation/divorce, or career changes.
Your expert can tailor the consultation to your personal situation and focus on the topics most relevant to you.
What’s Included in Personal Wealth Management Advice?
Your personal wealth management session generally covers:
- Current Situation Analysis
- Risk Profile
- Investment Horizon
- Savings Rate
- Financial Goals
- Sustainability Preferences
- Investment Options
- Fees
- Retirement Planning
Your advisor will also tailor the session to your individual needs and focus on the areas most relevant to you.
What can I prepare in advance?
To get the most out of your session, it helps to have a clear overview of your financial situation.
You can use the budget feature in the ellexx app and answer the following questions:
- What is my monthly income?
- What is my total net worth?
- What are my fixed expenses (e.g., rent, insurance, taxes, subscriptions, transport)?
- What are my variable expenses (e.g., leisure, travel, clothing)?
- How much debt do I have?
- (Optional) How much do I want to invest long-term?
- (Optional) What does my retirement planning look like? (Check your pension statement and Pillar 3a)
For the wealth management advice, you can also send your documents—like your current investment strategy—directly to your independent advisor ahead of time. This saves time and lets you dive straight into the session.
How Much Money Do I Need for Wealth Management Advice?
A wealth management session or mandate is worthwhile if you have CHF 500,000 or more in disposable assets (excluding pension funds or real estate).
The financial consultation, on the other hand, is designed for all women who want to take control of their finances and make independent decisions. Even if you don’t have a large portfolio, you’re in the right place—our expert will show you how to invest sustainably, cost-effectively, and for the long term, even with smaller amounts.
Can I Get Advice About Retirement?
Our experts also specialize in retirement planning. However, this service is not the same as a full pension consultation. It’s recommended to review your retirement planning in detail at least 10 years before you retire.
Can I Bring My Partner to the Wealth Management Session?
Absolutely! The strongest relationships are built on open conversations about money. By the way, children are welcome too.
